Join Now Boys ages 5–17

Join Troop NC-2819.

Follow these steps to get your family ready for the adventure.

  1. Complete the connection form

Tell us a little about your family using the form below. A troop leader will then add your family to the troop in Trail Life Connect.

New families: please do not create a Trail Life Connect account first. Your account will be created when we add your family. You’ll receive a welcome email with instructions to set up your profile and create your password.

    Fill out the connection form

Having trouble with the form? Open it in a new tab.

  2. Set up your parent profile

Once your Trail Life Connect welcome email arrives, follow its instructions to create your password and complete your parent profile.

  3. Add your Trailmen

Add each son, ages 5–17, to your family in Trail Life Connect. Each Trailman needs his own login information.

If your son doesn’t have an email address, you can create his profile with a username instead. You cannot reuse the email address associated with your parent profile.

  4. Complete consent forms & pay national dues

Sign all required consent forms in Trail Life Connect and pay your national membership dues to the home office.

These dues go directly to Trail Life USA and renew annually based on the date you joined. They are separate from your local troop dues in Step 5.

  5. Pay your NC-2819 troop dues

Troop dues are paid directly to The Church at Indian Trail and help cover your Trailmen’s awards, events, and weekly activity supplies.

  6. Find your place to serve

We ask every family to serve in some way, if possible. Prayerfully consider how God might use your talents, skills, and knowledge within the troop.

To begin the process of becoming a Registered Adult or volunteer, first complete the background check process through The Church at Indian Trail.

A note about the background check

You may see a pop-up before you begin stating that you’re agreeing to a credit report. We do not run credit reports on volunteers — only a standard background check.
